Essex Baroque Orchestra & Leeds Baroque Orchestra

Peter Holman and Judy Tarling are the regular directors and tutors for two amateur baroque orchestras in the UK. The Essex Baroque Orchestra was founded in 1986 and is the resident orchestra of the Suffolk Villages Festival. 1999 saw the foundation of a similar orchestra based in Yorkshire, the Leeds Baroque Orchestra. Both orchestras are devoted to giving students, teachers and good amateurs occasional experience at playing baroque orchestral repertory at a high level.
